Nic Jeffries is an accomplished Australian vocalist and saxophonist known for his warm, smooth tone — often described by audiences as “like chocolate” — and his effortless blend of jazz, soul and contemporary influences. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Donny Hathaway, Frank Sinatra and James Taylor, Nic has developed a distinctive sound that showcases both his vocal depth and instrumental versatility.
With an extensive career spanning festivals, concert halls and international stages, Nic has performed across a wide range of musical settings. His television appearance on The Voice Australia, where he worked with internationally renowned artist Ronan Keating, further cemented his profile as a standout performer admired for his musicianship, charisma and vocal finesse.
Nic released his debut album in 2011 and has since spent over a decade performing throughout Australia with The Graduates and under his own name. He has appeared as a sideman and featured artist with an impressive list of performers, including Guy Sebastian, Renée Geyer, Damien Leith, Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), Mark Gable (The Choirboys) and Australian jazz icon James Morrison, with whom he has fronted major ensemble performances.
In addition to his performance career, Nic has made significant contributions to music education. He currently serves as Executive Director of Adelaide Youth Orchestras, a leadership role he has held since 2023, where he remains committed to supporting and developing the next generation of young Australian musicians.
