With varying vocal influences including Donny Hathaway, Frank Sinatra & James Taylor, not to mention his notable abilities on the saxophone, Nic has built an extensive career performing music across many genres and styles. While only still in his thirties, he has travelled the world performing at various festivals and events, and recently wowed viewers with his appearance on the popular Channel 9 television series ‘The Voice Australia’ working with the internationally renowned Ronan Keating. Nic is highly respected by his musical peers and has earned praise from audiences wherever he has performed.
Having released his debut album in 2011, Nic has spent the last decade performing for festivals and in venues all over Australia with The Graduates and under his own name. He has performed as a sideman with artists as diverse as Damien Leith, Guy Sebastian, Renae Geyer, Steve Balbi (Noiseworks) and Mark Gable (The Choir Boys) and has also performed as frontman with Australian jazz legend James Morrison. Nic has also enjoyed widespread success through his involvement in music education and is currently serving as Executive Director of Adelaide Youth Orchestras, a position he has held since 2023.
